ScanLife has made its 2D bar code reader application compatible with Android phones. The bar code reader app is now compatible with all the major mobile OS (Symbian, Java, iPhone, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and now Android). The bar code reader application enables the smart phone to scan a 2D bar code and then perform the relevant action linked with that specific bar code. The “relevant action” can be anything like opening a webpage, or doing some other task which your mobile phone can do. The bar code reader application will minimize the keyboard usage as the cell phone users would be able to do most of the tasks with the help of bar code reader software.
ScanLife’s bar code reader supports popular 2D bar code formats like QR, Ezcode and Datamatrix. You can download the application from ScanLife website.
