There are reports that iPhone DevTeam is planning to install Android in its iBoot project. Project iBoot runs different OS boot loaders and allows users to choose from normal iPhone OS and Linux-based OS. (Android is one option as a Linux-based OS).

If DevTeam can port Android to iPhone successfully, it would be another twist in the tale.
