Now it looks almost certain that Android will not be included in “high-end” Nokia phones. Nokia tablet phones use Linux maemo and it seems that Nokia is pretty satisfied with it. Talking about Nokia’s plans, a company representative Ukko Lappalainen told Reuters that his company is seriously considering Linux platform for their hand-end phones and Android is not a serious consideration. Ukko said, ” I don’t see anything in Android which would make it better than Linux maemo.” He also added that Linux will be “the choice” for future plans saying ,” In the longer perspective, Linux will become a serious alternative for our high-end phones.”
