According to a leaked product map for 2009 HTC products, it seems that the company (HTC) has plans to unearth at least two Android-powered devices in the year 2009. These two devices would be the Hero and the Sapphire. Reportedly, the Sapphire has been termed as the G2 by some experts but it lacks something very basic i.e. the menu button. Apparently, the leaked images of the Sapphire doesn’t reveal a menu button but there’s a square sort of button which can serve the purpose of menu button I suppose. Anyways, the phone has a cool look and similarities with the HTC G1 specially its curved chin and glass covering of the camera.
And the other upcoming HTC Android phone, the Hero is much alike G1 with the exception of QWERTY keyboard. The Hero is thinner than G1 though and shares a chinned shape of G1. So it looks like that HTC is taking Android seriously and concentrating hard to bring more of its Android devices to the market.
